I have been thinking this since a while, what if human brain can be connected directly to software to send and receive commands. What triggered this thought to my mind is sometimes when I spend whole day writing some computer program code, and get to bed later at night, I sometimes end up figuring out logical solution while lying and thinking straight up in the bed. So sometimes I have thought why not connect the interpreter or the compiler of the software directly to the brain, so that as or when I figure out the logic(solution to a problem)I should test or rather implement it right away.
But that's a crazy idea. well, can you imagine the possibilities? We then be able to write a program/software without getting onto a computer. In other words we will take the physical interface of computer out of the frame, and get directly connected to become more of human - cybernetic beings. Yesterday on Discovery Science I watched Ridley Scott's "Prophets of Science Fiction", in which they also talked about prosthetic limb controlled by human brains by connecting electrodes to brain that can send and receive signals to some action.
Well, now I see the possibility if what I am thinking could exist in the future, and today we are sitting just on the edge.
Lets have a look at few human interface with the machine through software examples of the present times (year 2012)
